Introductory activities | Presentation of the course: objectives, contents, learning methods, and assessment of the course are clarified in class. Use of the 'Campus Virtual' is also introduced. |
Scientific and/or communication events | Dissemination events. Invited lecture. Course-dependent topic. |
videoconferencing | Live or pre-recorded lectures by the professors of the course. The final part of every session will be used to answer questions from students either live or pre-asked. |
Reading written documents and graphs | Slides of the course available in the 'Campus Virtual'. Collection of scientific publications. Chapters of books in the basic references. This activity must be carried out in advance and it is mandatory in order to make the most of other parts of the course: webinar, homework problems, webconference. The documents will be classified in topics and subtopics. |
Problem solving, exercises | Collection of homework problems, dealing with different aspects of the provided documents and/or the invited lecture. |
Assignments | Individual or group assignment on the topics proposed by the professors of the course. A report of the results must be submitted in the 'Campus Virtual'. |
Seminars | On-campus session of selected topics that require an in-depth treatment, with the active participation of students. |
