Article 5 of the ETSE regulations states that the Board can consist of a maximum of 50 members and that its composition is the following:

The elected members of the School Board are renewed every four years, except the students who are renewed every two, although elections can be held whenever vacancies need to be covered.
The current Board was constituted on 25th February 2005.
The School Board has agreed to create several committees:
Committee of Credit Transfer and Adaptations. This Committee consists of the School’s four heads of study programmes and their function is to review the applications for credit transfer and adaptation, and make the appropriate recommendations to the director of the School, who shall take the final decision in accordance with article 121 of the Statutes.
Finally there is the Electoral Committee which is charge of organizing, monitoring and announcing the results of the electoral processes that affect the School and its departments: the Department of Computer Engineering and Mathematics, and the Department of Electronic, Electric and Automatic Engineering. This committee is regulated by article 14 of the URV's Electoral Regulations and its composition is the following: the director or delegated deputy director, the secretary, a representative of the teaching staff, a representative of the students and a representative of PAS appointed by the School Board.
Officers
The new statutes have specified that the School shall have the following officers:
The director, appointed by the rector of the University at the proposal of the School Board, represents, directs and manages the School with the help of the management team. Article 75 establishes all his/her functions
The deputy director has the functions conferred on him/her by the director and shall act in his/her stead should he/she be absent or otherwise engaged, or the post be vacant.
The secretary is responsible for drafting and safeguarding the proceedings of the School Board, for issuing certificates of the decisions taken and for issuing the certificates required for the administrative management.
The heads of the study programmes, under the supervision of the dean or director of the faculty/school to which the study programme is affiliated, are responsible for the academic programme, for coordinating the human and material resources needed to organize one or more related programmes, for monitoring quality, implementing improvements and formulating the corresponding proposals. The number of programme heads in each faculty/school is determined by the University Senate and in the case of ETSE there are 4.
The deputy director, the secretary and the programme heads are appointed by the rector at the proposal of the director and from among the permanent full-time staff affiliated to the faculty/school.
At this point in time during the academic year 2009/10, these positions are occupied by:
Advisory Bodies
STUDY PROGRAMME COUNCIL
The Study Programme Council is one of the new bodies created by the URV's new statute. In accordance with article 92 of these statutes and article 28 of the ETSE regulations, the aim of this council is to assist the study programme heads to carry out their functions. It consists of all the full-time teaching staff at the School. The School's regulations specify that there will be four Study Programme Councils.
ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Advisory Council is the other of the School's advisory bodies and it is envisaged in article 93 of the URV's new Statute. In accordance with article 29 of the School's Regulations, there is a single Advisory Council for all qualifications consisting of physical or legal persons external to the University and connected to the spheres of the study programmes taught by the School. Its main task is to advise and work on adapting the curricula to the skills that graduates will require in their working lives.
The School hopes that leading figures from all areas related to the qualifications taught will take part in this council and contribute with their experience and knowledge of the world of work. So far, nine members have been appointed.
