Administrative Units of the School
This is an office in charge of advising the management team and providing support. Among other things it manages the budget, the strategic plan, the elections, the cooperation agreements between the university and companies , etc. It is located on the ground floor in the vestibule. THE DEPARTMENTS
The departments are the basic bodies in charge of organizing, coordinating and carrying out research and teaching in their respective fields of knowledge (article 11 Statutes).
The following URV departments are based in the ETSE:
The directors of these departments, at the beginning of the year, are Dr. Jesus Brezmes Llecha and Dr. Jordi Castellà Roca, respectively.
Some subjects at the ETSE are taught by other departments, such as Mechanical Engineering (particularly in the speciality of Electricity) and Chemical Engineering. These departments belong to the ETSEQ and, therefore, are also on the same campus.
The departments also have their own governing assemblies, the Departmental Council (articles 58 and 59 URV Statutes) and officers, director and secretary (articles 72 and 73 respectively).
