GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE SUBJECT: Conceptes bàsics de l'enginyeria química que inclouen: l'estudi de l'estructura de la matèria, els seus estats d'agregació i lenllaç químic; termodinàmica i equilibri; operacions bàsiques de l'enginyeria química, cinética química i ingenyieria de la reacció catalítica; i introducció a la química orgànica i inorgànica industrial.
