General description and relevant information

The information published in this guide is the corresponding to face-to-face classes and can serve as an orientation information. Due to the health emergency caused by the Covid-19 there may be changes in the teaching, assessment and calendars of the course. These changes will be reported to the Moodle space of the subject.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE SUBJECT: The main objective of the subject is to introduce the student to the design of power distribution architectures in hybrid and electric vehicles. The steady state behavior of the propulsion system and the power converters of the power distribution system will be analyzed. In addition, the interactions between the power converters, the electric propulsion system and the vehicle dynamics will be studied in detail. Finally, students will apply the concepts acquired by designing and verifying by simulation a power distribution system of an electric vehicle.
