Descripció general i informació rellevant This course tries to help students to understand how a foreign language is acquired in a classroom setting, and how it can be taught.The course will apply theory to practice and will offer a wide range of methodological approaches. It will survey existing programmes.It will familiarize the course participants with teaching materials, help them to evaluate these materials and produce new ones for their future teaching situations.

Metodologia docent
A combination of lectures, and group discussion work on pre-assigned texts.

Metodologia avaluació
Continuous assessment on the basis of papers handed in, or a final exam in cases where the continuous assessment work is insufficient evidence of the student's assimilation of the course content.
