General description and relevant information To introduce the student in the concept of nursing in other countries reinforcing their general English communication skills and learning specific nursing vocabulary.

Module 2. Nursing procedures. Percutaneous venipuncture.
Wound dressing.
Insertion of nasogastric tube.
Female and male catheterization.
Module 3. Care plans. Nursing theorists and models. Virginia Henderson and Jean Watson.
Module 4. Nursing research and mobility. Research and abstracts.
European Nursing Module Network: host student's vs guest student.

Other comments and second exam session

Classroom attendance and active participation is necessary to be able to achieve a good oral and written technical English level.

Only the students who attend 80% of the classes will be evaluated.
