Each class will start with the theoretical and practical principles/guidelines to prepare estudents for the requirements of the various text types. |
Sessió Magistral |
The lectures focus on different pragmatic devices to cause the relevant stylistic effect. Also on the conventions and patterns that rule the text type. Of course the theoretical and practical part mingle both in the lectures and seminars as the goal is writing. |
Seminaris |
The texts provided are drawn from a wide range of sources and they belong to different textual types.
The seminars will focus on the different stages of the writing process as applicable to the different text types. |

Students are welcome to use the teacher's office hours for personal consultation or to becomes acquainted with the basic structure and contents of the course, and to further practice their communication skills in English. |
