Students
may carry out their External Practicals by: A)
choosing from a series of companies or institutions provided by the subject
coordinator, or B) looking
for an alternative location that is more in line with their interests and is
not on the list provided in option A. If
two or more students choose a place from the list provided in option A, the
place will be awarded to one of the students by means of one or both of the
following strategies: - An
interview with the tutor from the company/institution or delegated person - Comparison
of the students’ academic transcripts and their grades from the first three
years.
Students who choose option B
must inform the subject coordinator or head of course as soon as possible. The
student’s proposal must receive approval from one of the academic coordinators,
without this it will not be accepted. |

This subject has only one exam session held in June. As specified in the URV'sacademic and registration regulations for bachelor's degrees, student can askfor the exam session to be brought forward to January or postponed untilSeptember. Documentsto be used: 1. Report by the external tutor (in accordance with the Regulations of theFaculty of Chemistry) 2. Practicals report by student (in accordance with the Regulations of theFaculty of Chemistry) 3. Report by the internal tutor (in accordance with the Regulations of theFaculty of Chemistry) 4. Assessmentof the practicals. In order to be assessed, students must also submit a brief report (no more than one page) inwhich they evaluate the practicals that they have undertaken and indicate theirlevel of satisfaction Levelof satisfaction: VG = very good, G =good, A = aceptable, D = completely unsatisfactory Documents1, 2 and 3 will be used for the evaluation: Reportby the external tutor.......... 70% (A1, A5, B5, B6, C6) Studentpracticals report and report by the internal tutor.... 20% and 10%, respectively(A8, C6) Students who do not presentdocuments 2 or 4 will not be graded and will be recorded as Absent. |
