Descripció general i informació rellevant

<p> A causa de l’emergència sanitària provocada per la COVID-19 poden haver-hi canvis en la docència, avaluació i calendaris del curs 2020-21. Aquests canvis s’informaran a l’espai Moodle de cada assignatura. </p><p>The aim of this course is to stimulate and promote, in a useful and active way, students' oral communicative competence in foreign language in order to develop successful speaking skills and be able to establish good communication habits at school, as well as to expose different contents closely related to the English culture which, together with their prior knowledge, will enrich their personal training as education professionals. </p>

Activitats Introductòries	Activitats encaminades a prendre contacte i a recollir informació dels estudiants i presentació de l’assignatura.
Sessió Magistral	Exposició dels continguts de l'assignatura.

Descripció

If the students need to talk to the teacher they will try to reach him/her through moodle or his/her email address and, if they need to, they will ask for an appointment for a personal meeting. The teacher has also some attention to students hours in which he will be in the office.

Altres comentaris i segona convocatòria

Those students who, because of force majeure, will not be able to attend any classes will need to do all the activities/tasks (as the rest of their classmates) and will also be assessed by sitting a single examination covering all the contents of the course. Acts of force majeure must be duly justified.

D'acord amb la normativa vigent el professor podrà establir aquelles mesures que consideri oportunes per al bon desenvolupament de les activitats avaluatives. Les mesures podrien incloure limitacions pel que fa a l'ús o tinença de dispositius de comunicació i transmissió de dades durant la realització de les proves i seran d'obligat compliment per part de l'estudiantat.

In this subject we will be targeting for a B-2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). This course is not the right place to learn English at all; it is the place to develop, improve and strenghten oral skills and learn how to teach children English. Attendance is not only compulsory, but a very important part of the subject, without which no student is going to be able to pass. That is why everyone, willing to take this subject, should come to all the sessions as much as possible. Participation is essential as well; the more you get involved the more you will learn.
