Methodologies
  Description
Introductory activities Course presentation (aims, content, learning methods, assessment).
Lecture Presentation and explanation (for each new item) of course contents, to support and complement practice with the acquisition of appropriate corresponding linguistic and meta-linguistic knowledge.
Problem solving, exercises in the classroom Exercises completed in the class sessions (corrections will be explained in English, preferably by the students), to:
(a) increase the student's degree of grammatical accuracy,
(b) initiate training in basic description and analysis of the English language, and
(c) detect and deal with any especially problematic aspects.
Previous study Reviewing and revising for written tests. Complementation (with brief readings) of class lectures.
Assignments Students will have to write a final report in which they assess different aspects of the subject and their own learning process.
Problem solving, exercises Students will be required to read units at home and do exercises about them. They should also tell teachers about any doubts/problems they might come up against when doing so.

No late assignments will be accepted.

No tests/exams will be taken outside scheduled dates and times, unless properly justified.

In cases where results are borderline, regular attendance (above 80%) and active participation in class discussions may be taken into consideration, at the tutor's discretion.

Segona Convocatòria will consist of a written exam worth 100% which will include questions and exercises on all the topics covered in the course. Students will not have to write the final report for segona convocatòria.
