Review of previously studied concepts in speech production and sound classification |
| Sessió Magistral |
Presentation of theoretical concepts in phonetics and phonology.
Detailed study of the main aspects of the acoustics of English, with concentration on some relevant issues that have an effect on the learning of English as a foreign language.
General presentation of the phonology of English, with concentration on segmental and, especially, suprasegmental aspects such as metrical structure (syllable, foot and word level) and stress assignment.
