General description and relevant information En esta asignatura se estudian y analizan desde un punto de vista teórico y práctico los modelos de adquisición de una segunda lengua que han existido a lo largo de la historia hasta la actualidad. También se analizan las repercusiones que estos modelos tienen en el ámbito del aula y se proponen técnicas necesarias para organizar los procesos de enseñanza en consonancia con las necesidades, intereses y expectativas de los alumnos.
In this subject you only have the right to make the exam, because the degree you are studying is going to be extinguished. If you need an extraordinary exam session, you have to enrol for this, presenting an application to the secretariat of your campus or faculty.

1. Presentación de los términos clave en la metodología de enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras. 1.1. Metodología, método y enfoque.

2. Historia de la metodología del español como lengua extranjera. 2.1. Los orígenes: el latín como modelo de la enseñanza-aprendizaje de LE.
2.2. El método tradicional o de gramática-traducción.
2.3. Los métodes naturales: el método directo.
2.4. Los métodos de base estructuralista: el método audiolingual, el método situacional y el método audiovisual.
