General description and relevant information The objective is to introduce the student in the world of knowledge management, the methodologies, the techniques and the tools to capture, to validate and to use knowledge. Among these techniques, we will put special attention in some ones coming from the area of Data Mining. These are useful to take conclusions from the intelligent analysis of the data and, therefore, as a support to decision making.

Introductory activities Presentació dels professors. Presentació dels objectius de l’assignatura, dels continguts, la metodologia docent, forma d’avaluació i material de referència a utilitzar durant el curs.
Lecture El professor explicarà els continguts bàsics de l’assignatura amb exemples. Posant a disposició de l’alumne tot el material que necessiti per a l’estudi de la matèria.
Problem solving, classroom exercises En equips s’estudiarà una eina per a la gestió del coneixement amb la qual es farà un treball pràctic. Caldrà lliurar el resultat del treball al professor.

Description
To make the follow up of the subject, but more concretely to ease making the practical works the lecturer will provide the students with 6h of personal assistance out of the regular classes.

Objective short-answer tests Objective tests that periodically and during 30min-1h will question several topics of the subject. The final test will take 2h and it will evaluate all the contents of the course (it will count triple of ordinary tests).
