| THEORY: 20 hours will be devoted to make the students familiar with grammatical concepts governing the English syntax. PRACTICE: Students will spend 40 hours practising the use of English. |

| Activitats Introductòries | At the beginning of the course students will be presented with a general outline of the material studied for the subject. |
| Treballs | In order to improve their English students will be working on various types of technical texts either translating them or creating their own texts. |
| Resolució de problemes, exercicis a l'aula ordinària | During the course students will be confronted with a variety of situations or contexts related to the world of engineering. They will work either individually or in teams. |
