General description and relevant information To know the foundations about the Low Voltage electrical installations, as well as to carry out all the necessary calculations for the design of such installations

Competences
Type A Code Competences Specific
 A1 Have the ability to draw up, sign and develop projects in the field of industrial engineering, specialising in electricity, with the aim of constructing, refurbishing, repairing, preserving, demolishing, manufacturing, installing, assembling or using: structures, mechanical equipment, energy installations, electrical and electronic installations, industrial installations and plants and manufacture and automation processes.
 A3 Have the knowledge, understanding and ability to apply the necessary legislation when working in the profession of industrial technical engineer, specialising in electricity.
 EL3 Be able to calculate and design low and medium voltage electrical installations.
Type B Code Competences Transversal
 B3 Be able to solve problems with initiative, make decisions, be creative, use critical reasoning and communicate and transmit knowledge, abilities and skills in the field of industrial engineering, specialising in electricity.
 B4 Be able to handle specifications, regulations and standards that must be fulfilled.

Calculate LV electrical lines, and select the protection for the installations and for people.
Calculate connections, junction boxes and interior installations: general protection boxes, general power supply lines, individual derivations, meters, control and protection devices.
Project earthing systems in LV electrical installations.

Other comments and second exam session

Les proves T1 i P1 es realitzaran conjuntament, aproximadament a mitjans del semestre. Les proves T2 i P2 també es realitzaran conjuntament la darrera setmana del semestre. La prova D1 es realitzarà la darrera setmana del semestre.

Per aprovar l'assignatura cal haver assistit a totes les pràctiques de laboratori, tenir una qualificació mínima de 4 a l'examen 1 (T1 + P1) i l'examen 2 (T2 + P2), tenir una qualificació mínima de 5 al laboratori (D1), i tenir una qualificació FINAL (QF) mínima de 5.

No es pot utilitzar cap tipus de dispositiu electrònic amb connexió sense fils durant la realització de les proves.

La segona convocatòria, a realitzar el dia oficialment designat, constarà d'exàmens similars als realitzats durant la primera convocatòria: 2 parcials, cada un d'ells amb una part teòrica (test) i una part de problemes, i el examen de laboratori. Les pràctiques han d'estar realitzades.
