Cada titulació té assignats un o diversos tutors interns que són els que tutoritzen als estudiants durant la seva estada de pràctiques. Per la seva banda, l'empresa o institució pública es l'encarregada d'assignar la persona o persones que realitzaran les funcions de tutor extern de l'alumne. Pel que fa al procediment de selecció i assignació dels alumnes per realitzar les pràctiques aquest es fa mitjançant l'acord entre l'empresa i l'alumne. Generalment, tot i que de vegades l'alumne contacta directament amb una empresa, les empreses presenten les seves ofertes d'estades en pràctiques i els alumnes interessats s'inscriuen a les ofertes adjuntant el seu currículum. Un cop finalitzat el període d'inscripció l'Oficina de Suport a la Direcció de l'Escola fa arribar els currículums a l'empresa, que contacta amb els estudiants per realitzar una entrevista de selecció. Un cop l'empresa té seleccionat l'alumne acorden els termes de l'estada en pràctiques i es formalitza el conveni en pràctiques. |

La coordinació i seguiment de l'alumnat es realitzarà a través del tutor de la universitat i del tutor de l'empresa o institució pública. Ambdós tutors es responsabilitzaran de fixar el pla de treball de cada estudiant, fer un seguiment de les pràctiques efectuades i participar en la valoració de les pràctiques de l'estudiant per determinar finalment la seva avaluació. Abans d'iniciar les pràctiques, es convenient que l'alumne s'adreci al seu tutor de la universitat que atendrà consultes individualitzades d'aquells alumnes que requereixin orientació. També és convenient que l'estudiant contacti amb el seu tutor abans de finalitzar les pràctiques per tal d'orientar el treball i defensa del mateix. |
