General description and relevant information <p>The information published in this guide corresponds to face-to-face classes and can serve as a guide. Due to the<b> health emergency </b>caused by COVID-19 there may be changes in teaching, assessment and calendars for the 2020-21 academic year. These changes will be reported in the Moodle space of each subject.</p><p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE SUBJECT:: Aquesta assignatura té com a objectiu introduir a l'alumne en el comerç electrònic ensenyant les bases necessàries per poder realitzar amb èxit un treball pràctic d'implantació de venda electrònica relacionat amb l'entorn socioeconòmic. L'alumne rebrà nocions sobre com dissenyar un model de negoci. Coneixerà com es gestiona la informació als comerços electrònics. Aprendrà com funcionen els mecanismes de transacció electrònica actualment en ús. Finalment, se li explicaran diverses tècniques enfocades a la protecció del copyright electrònic.</p><p>Although this course is not offered in English, foreign exchange students will receive personalised support in English and will be able to develop the evaluation activities in this language.</p>

Introductory activities Es farà una presentació dels objectius i de les aplicacions de l'assignatura.
Lecture Explicació dels continguts teòrics de l'assignatura.
IT-based practicals in computer rooms Per grups de 2, els alumnes dissenyen i implementen una botiga electrònica per vendre per Internet. Per fer-ho hauran de combinar tots els coneixements adquirits a l'assignatura.
Presentations / oral communications Per grups de 2, els alumnes presenten a classe el seu model de negoci.
Personal attention Consultes de forma presencial al despatx 147 o mitjançant correu electrònic.

Description

L'atenció personalitzada és farà en horari de consulta de forma presencial o per correu electrònic. A causa de l'emergència sanitària, l'atenció a l'estudiant es podrà realitzar mitjançant reunions en línia, en horaris concertats prèviament per correu electrònic, o mitjançant altres eines virtuals.

The 2nd call evaluation involves a written exam (50% of the final grade), designing and implementing an electronic commerce (40% of the final grade) and presenting the business model of the designed e-commerce solution (10% of the final grade). Note that the maximum grade for the practical part (i.e., designing and implementing an electronic commerce and presenting it) in the 2nd call is 8 out of 10.
