General description and relevant information In this subject, we will discuss the design and validation of hardware architectures and software currently used in automotive electronics. This will include verification techniques to ensure that correct specifications are met such as hardware in the loop (HIL) simulation and vehicle verification. Finally new directions in automotive software and hardware will be described related to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), automatic driving, the connected vehicle and cybersecurity.
