General description and relevant information This course explains the benefits that research brings to the Society.

Competences
Type A Code Competences Specific
 A1 Integrate the fundamental technology, applications, services and systems of Computer Security and Artificial Intelligence,in a broader, multidisciplinary context.
 A2 Undertake the management of research, development and innovation projects, in companies and technological centres, oriented Computer Security and Artificial Intelligence guaranteeing safety for people and goods, the final quality of the products and their approval.
 G3 Apply the principles of the economy and management of human resources and projects, and the legislation, regulation and standardisation of computer systems. Specifically in the areas of Computer Security and Artificial Intelligence

Methodologies
Methodologies
  Description
Introductory activities The professor will describe the course and its methodologies. The tasks requiter to pass the subject will also be described.
Lecture The content of the course will be taught by means of a varitey of information sources, mainly slides and videos.
ICT practicals They will consist, among others, in typesetting of LaTeX documents and queries to databases.
Problem solving, exercises They will consist on planning a businnes from a research idea.
Presentations / expositions Oral presentation of the business plan.
Personal tuition Professors will assist students using electronic mail, the virtual campus videoconference system or in the office.
