General description and relevant information The TFMs of the Master's Degree can have professionalizing character, although in some cases it could be of research type. The professionalizing TFMs can continue the activity developed in the industry during the external practics subject, or be, can be done in the department. The research type work will involve the development of a new research project within one of the research groups of the Department of Electronic, Electrical and Automatic Engineering.

Procedures

The teachers of the subjects of the Master, or the tutors of the companies, will elaborate the proposals of the Master's Final Projects, which will be validated by a Committee of professors of the department. This validation will ensure that the information on the work to be performed is complete and correct and that it fits the general theme of the Master, etc. Proposals must include at least the following information:  

  • Title, responsible professor, co-directors, research group or company, and keywords.
  • Objectives to fulfill in the work to be developed.
  • Tasks to develop to meet the objective.

The approved proposals will be displayed in the Moodle space of the Master, to which enrolled students have free access to view the offer, select the proposal and contact the corresponding director

Es durà a terme una coordinació interna (per part de la universitat) i una coordinació externa (per part del centre de pràctiques).
Description
In case that the TFM be made in the industry,a report by the student responsable in the company will be required. 
This report will be send by the industry responsable to the university tutor. Both might agree in the content of that report and qualification.

The evaluation mechanism based on the template of the DEEEA Department will be used, where all jury members must complete a qualification sheet in accordance with a specific template. This template covers with much more detail the items exposed to the methodologies and their respective weight.
