Selection technique and assignment
Procedures

The student chooses the center of destination according to their personal interests and willingness to host it in the center for the completion of external internships. If considered appropriate, the average grade of the academic record will be used as an assessment tool.

This relationship is covered through a specific collaboration agreement for each student.

The student has an academic tutor (responsible for this subject) and a professional tutor from the destination center.

Description

Coordinator of External Practices: The Coordinator of the Biotechnology Degree is a professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. He/she will have the following functions: inform at the beginning of the course, of the rules that affect the realization and evaluation of the External Practices in a face-to-face orientation session to all the students enrolled. Assign all students the receiving center upholding as much as possible the preferences of the students. Ensure that students initiate the External Practices after formalizing the Agreement between the URV and the Receiving Center and the Specific Center Agreement. Students must be enrolled in the subject of External Practices to be able to do it. Inform students about the guidelines for the development of memory.

Tutor of the Receiver Center. The tutor of the Center Receptor will have the following functions: - Ensure that the student can carry out the practices in a safety and hygienic conditions in the work. - Ensure to the student a correct learning, always following the internal rules of the company and the confidentiality. - Fill out the evaluation form of the student of the company in which the student has completed the internships.
