General description and relevant information Introduction to sustainability tools. Basic theory and practice of Environmental Assessment and Life Cycle Management applied to food and beverages with special application to fermented beverages fermented beverages, especially wine, sparkling wine and beer.

 A5 Desenvolupar un cas pràctic o projecte curt en l'elaboració de begudes fermentades.
 A6 Aprendre l'ús de la sostenibilitat com una eina transversal en la pràctica de Ciència i Tecnologia, per a: - Obtenir una comprensió completa de la metodologia d'Anàlisis de Cicle de Vida, ACV; - Proporcionar una guia pràctica per a realitzar ACV; - Formar en l'ús de ACV com una eina de sostenibilitat en el sector vitivinícola.

This subject is evaluted by continuous assessment and the grade that is given is definitive. There are no final exams or retakes.

During the exams, any mobil telephone, tablet or other device that has not been expressly authorized for the exam must be switched off and out of view.

Any attempt to pass any exam of any subject by fraudulent means (be this physical or electronic) will result in the student being awarded a fail for the exam in question. In addition to this, the gravity of the offence may lead the faculty/school to propose that the student be subjected to disciplinary proceedings, which will be initiated by a resolution from the rector.
