General description and relevant information The subject of Cosntruction IV is aimed to provide the student basic knowledge about the most common structural systems in construction and the tools to apply them to a project. Also providing a general knowledge of other less usedstructural systems. The program is divided into two parts: the structure, the foundations systems and containment. This knowledge is given from several ways: the characteristics of the system, theirbehaviour, the pre-dimensioning and design of elements and joints.
