General description and relevant information <p>The course is scheduled to be taught in person and this presence will be maintained if the regulations that may be issued by the health authorities and other competent bodies do not say otherwise, and the capacity requirements allow it. If there are changes they will be reported to the Moodle space of the subject.</p><p>It deals with the basic knowledge on the intervention of energy and mechanical elements in architecture, with its implications on design, the occupation of spaces and the definition of form. The course is structured in 15 key topics, which affect the principles of sustainability, climates, operation of the means of environmental control, services.</p>

Learning outcomes
Type A Code Learning outcomes
 A20 Capacity to conceive, design and calculate systems for supplying, treating and draining water, and for heating and cooling buildings and urban developments, and its integration in the construction project whilst providing the necessary spaces for servicing and maintainance.
 A28 Design of sytems for transformation and supply of electicity, audiovisual communications, acoustic conditioning and artificial lighting of buildings and urban spaces.
