General description and relevant information The course Historic Centers and urban renewal deals with the theory and practice of interventions for the improvement and transformation of buildings, urban spaces and heritage landscapes that constitute the old centers of the towns and cities of the territory. The course Historical Centres and Urban Renewal focuses on the theory and practice of interventions for improving and transforming buildings, urban spaces and heritage landscapes that constitute historical centres of villages and cities.

Practical cases/ case studies Methodological analysis of building typologies, urban morphology, heritage elements and resident population of historical centres.
Workshop (architecture) Planning of urban transformation of historical centres through projects of integral rehabilitation within the context of built heritage, interventions in property elements and places of environmental and landscape interest
Lecture Contribution of the theoretical foundations on the methodologies of analysis and intervention in the historical centres with interdisciplinary criteria.
Personal attention Teacher guidance towards the approach of course subjects and the development of the case study and workshop.
