| Descripció general i informació rellevant | In-depth study of the phonetics of English, with a special emphasis on acoustics and articulatory aspects. This course will make extensive use of computer techniques to analyze the acoustic and articulatory nature of English sounds. We will also look at Spanish/Catalan/English comparative phonetics. There will also be a practical component, which will concentrate on intensive pronunciation work. | |||||||||||||||||
