Sessió Magistral Lecture, delivered by the course teacher, or guest speaker. Theoretical esposition of the main aspects of each topic in the course syllabus.
Power-point supported sessions: Summary of session and main objectives. Introduction of main concepts.
Seminaris The seminar sessions will be based on the study of specific topics. Students will be asked to prepare readings or discussions beforehand (from suggested topics or from the “Set course readings”).
Presentacions / exposicions Presentations will be based on the student's individual research work on any topic agreed under the teacher's supervision. Individual tutorials will provide an opportunity to discuss students' work with the course tutor on a one-to-one basis.
Individual research may include the use of a variety of sources, from the internet, printed materials and from different media such as TV, film, magazines, newspapers. Individual work, may be undertaken in groups of two, subject to the teacher's acceptance (and also depending on number of students).
Pràctiques a través de TIC en aules informàtiques Group or individual practical work. These sessions will incorporate analysis and discussion/debate of material from different media, such as TV, film, magazines, newspapers and the internet or printed documents. Practical sessions will be conducted in computer rooms or in the classroom (depending on the number of students).
Treballs Students may be asked to write on specific topics of their individual choice (always under teacher's supervision) in the form of course assignments and projects. *see "presentacions"
