Methodologies

	Description
Introductory activities	Presentation of the subject, the contents, the objectives and the corresponding evaluation.
Lecture	Explanation of the contents
Problem solving, exercises in the classroom	Solution in the classroom of problems and exercises previously presented to the student. Approach of the problem to the group and individualized resolution with the supervision of the professor.
Laboratory practicals	Crystalline material. Observation of crystalline morphology. Obtaining the point symmetry elements of the crystal. Characterization of the crystalline phase by powder diffraction. Visit the R-X diffraction equipment.
IT-based practicals in computer rooms	Geometric calculations of the crystalline structure with the appropriate program in the classroom computers. Characterization of different crystalline phases from the powder diffraction obtained with the DRX equipment.
Personal attention	Individualized tutorial hours to explain the student's doubts about the execution of the exercises, problems, practices of the subject and doubts about concepts given in the master classes.
