General description and relevant information
Teaching will be face-to-face as long as the limitation in the capacity of the classroom due to the health emergency allows it. If the number of students enrolled is greater than the capacity allowed in the assigned classroom, teaching will be mixed (face-to-face and distance) with scheduled hours. The practical laboratory classes are preferably carried out in person with scheduled hours taking into account the capacity of the laboratories and the limitations encountered by the Covid-19. The specific organization will be specified in the Moodle space of the subject depending on the health emergency situation.

The aim is to achieve basic knowledge in Crystallography, and X-ray diffraction. As well as in the main techniques of characterization of crystalline solids. Basic aspects of crystalline state, and XR- Diffraction. The direct lattice. The reciprocal lattice. Nomenclature. Point, direction and plane in Crystallography. Crystallographic calculations. Point symmetry. Space symmetry. XR-Diffraction characterization. XRD diffraction tecniques.
