General description and relevant information |
This subject deals with the application of mathematical and statistical methods to extract relevant information from the chemical data. The contents of the course are divided into advanced statistics, multivariate analysis and design of experiments. In this subject, the teaching of theory and problems will be face-to-face with scheduled hours if the health emergency situation for the Covid-19 allows it. If this is not the case, the teaching of theory and problems would be mixed (face-to-face and online, simultaneously) with scheduled hours, that is, the students are split into two groups: one group attends the class in person (”oncampus students”) while the other group follows that class livestream (“online students”). The two groups alternate in-person and online teaching on indicated days. The specific organization will be specified in the Moodle space of the subject depending on the health emergency situation. |
