General description and relevant information |
Design of secure distributed systems, with a strong emphasis on cloud computing. The course focuses on recent and ongoing research in distributed systems. It is a face-to-face course. However, due to the current health emergency, the way that the course works out can change with the emergency context. For instance, some classes could be taught online and if possible, face-to-face classes would be used to reinforce both the complex theoretical concepts and to the practical classes. In any case, changes to the assessment methodology and scheduling of lectures would be made publicly available in the Moodle site as soon as possible. |
