General description and relevant information |
This course is devoted to the study of the prehistoric stone tools, and has a central role in this Master’s Degree. First, because of the close relation existing between technology and human evolution, and also because the importance of the stone tools into the archaeological record from which prehistoric cultural processes can be reconstructed. This course offers basic knowledge to properly follow other courses focused specifically on diachronical views of Prehistory in different continents.
This subject will be taught face-to-face as far as
is possible within the instructions of the health authorities. At the start
of the academic year, the calendar containing all teaching activities (with
timetables and classrooms) will be available in the subject's Moodle area.
