Students will complete the translation of a text from Spanish into English. In addition to producing an accurate and complete translation, they will need to focus on achieving clarity and concision, particularly if the source text is neither clear nor concise. To do so they will need to bear in mind the stylistic transposition techniques we have discussed in class and provide examples of where they have used them. They must also bear in mind the copy editing rules we have analysed in class.
