The evaluation of the practicals will be based on attendance (in the laboratory) and the student's attitude.

Attendance to the laboratory practicals is mandatory for all students. Students who do not attend a practical will have to answer an additional question related to it in the final exam (1st and/or 2nd call).

The team presentation (clarity in the presentation and link with the contents of the subject programme, understanding of the work presented, and clear conclusions), as well as the individual development of each of the members of the group will be assessed. The individual ability to communicate the knowledge acquired will be considered. 15%

Attendance (in person) to at least 80% of the seminars will be assessed through the attitude and motivation of the students to learn about the aspects related to the scientific and research work presented by their classmates.

It is important to remember:
- Those students who do not comply with 80% of attendance will not be eligible for the total of 5% of the mark for seminars attendance.

The contents of the subjects explained in the lectures, laboratories and seminars will be assessed by means of a final exam (1st or 2nd call) and a minimum mark of 4 out of 8 must be obtained in order to pass.

The final exams (first and second sitting) will have the same structure: short answer questions, multiple choice or true (V) and false (F) questions.

In multiple-choice or true/false questions, each error will be penalised by 0.10 tenths of a point.

The exam questions (1st or 2nd call) will be formulated in Spanish.

Students who wish to improve their final exam mark (first convocation) may do so provided that they waive the mark obtained. The waiver must be submitted in writing to the person in charge of the course no later than three days before the second call.

The overall final mark for the course will be the sum of the mark obtained in the final exam (1st or 2nd call) and the mark obtained in the seminar activity (classroom presentation and attendance).
