General description and relevant information |
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE: Introduction to ordinary differential equations, including the main methods for their analytical and numerical resolution, the study of linear equations and systems of equations, the theorem of existence and uniqueness, the phase portraits, and the analysis of stability and critical points. There is also an introduction to partial differential equations, and their resolution method by variables separation, largely important for the description of physical phenomena. |
