General description and relevant information |
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The aim of the course is to learn how to design processes and products using advanced mathematical programming tools (LP, NLP, MILP, MINLP & multiobjective optimization) as decision-support tools for the design. The course will focus on problem-based learning, with a plethora of different, diverse, multidisciplinary and crossdisciplinary case studies. Environmental aspects will also be covered. NOTE THAT CHANGES IN THE MODULE SCHEDULE, AGREED WITH "INDUSTRIAL LEADERSHIP", WILL BE PUBLISHED IN MOODLE BEFORE THE COURSE STARTS. |
