General description and relevant information

This course presents the physical foundations and technological applications of new materials such as: semiconductors, superconductors, nonlinear optics materials and laser materials. The aim is for the student to get to know and physically interpret the behavior of materials of recent development and of maximum interest in current technology.

Teaching will be face-to-face as long as the limitation in the capacity of the classroom due to the health emergency allows it. If the number of students enrolled is greater than the capacity allowed in the assigned classroom, teaching will be mixed (face-to-face and distance) with scheduled hours. The specific organization will be specified in the Moodle space of the subject depending on the health emergency situation.
