General description and relevant information

The information published in this guide corresponds to face-to-face classes and can serve as a guide. The teaching activities will be taught as they appear scheduled in the academic agenda.

As for the theoretical classes, they will be taught in Catalan. Some topics will be developed in a traditional master class format. Others with a reverse class methodology, that is, the theoretical content will be worked on individually before the program class, and attendance will be used to reinforce the most important and/or complex theoretical concepts, while taking advantage of the results obtained in self-assessment quizzes with multiple choice questions with practical simulations. Practical classes will also be taught in Catalan and the content will be developed in the form of seminars with various modules exploring and presenting clinical cases. However, there will be tutored stays at the associated Primary Care Centers. On the last day of practice there will be an assessment test with a simulated patient in the Skills Laboratory classroom. Attendance at seminars and practicals, together with the patient assessment test, are indispensable conditions to be able to take the practical content exam.

In the event that the evolution of the health situation requires it, efforts will be made to adapt the teaching activity and assessment to the guidelines established by the relevant bodies and these adaptations will be reported on the Moodle space of each subject.
