| General description and relevant information |
Objectives: To introduce students to microscopic diagnostic techniques for studying clinical biological samples. The theoretical programme includes a total of 11 themes, according to the programme: historical introduction describing the development of the types of microscopes and several topics devoted to the study of each of the instruments and sample preparation techniques. Throughout the programme, special emphasis will be placed on the application of each of the techniques in biomedicine. The course will be taught in Catalan and Spanish. |
