General description and relevant information

In the event that the evolution of the health situation requires it, efforts will be made to adapt the teaching activity and assessment to the guidelines established by the relevant bodies and these adaptations will be reported on the Moodle space of each subject.

The medical doctor continuously makes decisions based on the observation of images, requires skills in order to know how to obtain scientific-medical images, reproduce them and manage them in different formats in order to be able to incorporate them in publications and scientific communications and/or to educate society.

This elective course is taught in CATALAN. It is offered to students of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering and it is an innovative training activity to learn useful methods for capturing scientific images and ensures acquiring the necessary skills in order to be able to manage images in different formats while using quality standards and, respecting the basic rules on ethics and professionalism. Following procedures being used in the professional field. In addition, the students learn how to use  information technologies (ICT) and learn effective teamwork methodologies generating the transfer of knowledge. Information sources of this course are available in different languages.
