General description and relevant information |
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE SUBJECT: This subject treats the generation of energy, which ultimately will be used to charge the energy storage systems of electric vehicles. We will review conventional power stations briefly and we will address renewable power plants. Also, the course overviews the problems arising from the interaction of the electric car, renewable energies and the electricity grid. |
