General description and relevant information |
The subject Biomedical Sensors and Signal Processing introduces the student to the basic aspects of sensor-based signal acquisition and processing, especially applied to the field of biomedicine. The subject is divided into four main sections: - Basic concepts of signal acquisition with sensors, where the basic architecture used in the acquisition of sensor data is introduced. - Introduction to sensors, focused on the biomedical field. The sensors used in biomedicine are reviewed and application examples are presented. - Advanced techniques of data acquisition with sensors. - Advanced sensor data processing techniques for biomedicine. |
