Internships are carried out at Primary Care Centers with MANDATORY ATTENDANCE.
During the stay at the care centers, the skills described in the "Skills sheet to be performed" document that is available in the subject's Moodle space, in the "PRACTICES AL CAP" section, must be performed.
Each student's skills sheet must be returned to the space indicated in Moodle, duly completed and signed by each student's tutor. This document is essential to obtain the APTE qualification for clinical practices.
Passing these practices and the oral test of clinical cases, together with attendance at the seminar modules, are the three MANDATORY conditions to be able to take the practical content exam.
Absence on practice days at care centers will involve the recovery of this practice at the center itself (or an alternative care facility) in order to take the practical exam.

INTERACTIVE TESTS (10% of the final grade)
Periodically, learning assessment tests will be carried out in the form of interactive questionnaires with multiple-choice questions, based on the content presented during the lectures, following the reverse class methodology.
Of these self-assessment tests, 75% or more must be completed and passed. The interactive learning test is considered to have been passed when the student registers in the application and gets 50% or more of the questions correct.

EVALUATIVE CLINICAL CASE (10% of the final mark)
Assessment by the professors responsible for the practical seminars through an oral assessment test with clinical cases. The assessment will consist of questions based on a clinical case, in which the student will have to give a short and reasoned oral answer in a maximum time of 15 minutes.
This test must be passed, together with attendance at the seminar modules and the practicals at the care centers. These are the three MANDATORY conditions to be able to take the practical content exam.

EVALUATION OF THEORETICAL CONTENTS (60% of the final mark):
The theoretical content of the master classes will be evaluated through a questionnaire of 50 test-type questions with multiple choice with only one correct answer. The language of the questionnaire will be Catalan. The exam will last 60 minutes, all questions will be available from the beginning. It will be necessary to answer 90% (45 questions) or more of the questions asked. Each correct answer adds one positive point and each wrong answer subtracts 0.25 points. If the limit of blank answers is exceeded, the same penalty criterion for negative answers will be applied (0.25 points for each blank answer). It will be necessary to obtain a minimum grade of 5 out of 10 to consider the test passed and which can be averaged with the rest of the grades obtained in the subject. This test will take place within the scheduled tests during the first semester of the academic year.

It will be necessary to answer 90% (18 questions) or more of the questions asked. This test will be carried out as part of the scheduled tests during the second semester of the academic year.

Others

Attendance at the seminar modules and practices at the Primary Care Center, in addition to taking the oral test of evaluative clinical cases, are mandatory to take the practical exam. Absence from the seminars and the days of the practice period at the primary care center will involve the recovery of the seminars and/or practice hours at the primary care center to take the practical exam.

EVALUATION SYSTEM

To pass the subject ALL assessments must be passed independently. The final mark will be the summation of the marks obtained in the approved parts: oral test of the evaluative clinical case (10%), interactive tests of continuous evaluation (10%), synthesis test of the theoretical contents (60%) and synthesis test of the practical contents (20%).

FIRST CALL

Questionnaire with 70 multiple-choice test-type questions: first part (first term) of 50 questions on the contents of the lectures and second part (second term) of 20 questions on the contents of the practical sessions.

SECOND CALL

The student will have to take tests of similar characteristics in the pending section, theoretical or practical as appropriate, depending on the skills that he has not passed in the first call, as long as he has justified the compulsory attendance of the subject (seminars , simulated patient and stay at the Primary Care Centre).

SCHEDULE OF THE EXAMS

The exams will be held face-to-face according to the schedule of the academic agenda.

Depending on the exceptional health circumstances that may arise from the COVID-19 pandemic, the assessment will be adapted to a face-to-face or virtual environment. In the event that face-to-face assessment in the classroom is not possible due to instructions from the health authorities, the format of the tests will be similar but adapted to not being present. If situations of plagiarism or impersonation are detected, the corresponding disciplinary file will be opened.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

In accordance with the academic regulations, the use or possession of communication and data transmission devices will be limited during the assessment activities and must be complied with by the student. Mobile phones, tablets and other devices that are not expressly authorized by the test must remain switched off and out of sight.
